Book Fair
Coming Soon!   The H.P.E. Book Fair,  "Reading Saves the Day"!  The Book Fair will be open Monday, September 13th- Thursday, September 16th from  8:15-2:30, and Friday, September 17th from 8:15-12:00. 

Parent Night Tuesday, September, 14th from 3:30-6:00pm
We would like to invite all families to come check out our book fair.  Come out to support your school library.

Donuts for Dad Thursday morning 7:30am
Dads, come in for breakfast and visit our book fair with your children. 
Report Cards
Report Cards for the first grading period will go home September 23rd. 

   Parent-teacher conferences will be held September 28th from 3:30-6pm. 
Walk-a-thon
Mark your calendars now for September 24th!  Highland Park will be having our annual Walk-a-thon.  Let's get our walking shoes ready for our annual fundraiser for HPE!!! Our pledge sheets will be sent home soon!
PTO
Our Highland Park PTO is geared up and ready for a new year.  Come out and join!  The meetings will be held the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30.  Come out and join us!

Report Card Update

This school year, for grades 2-4, we are back to having grades on the report card.  In response to parent surveys, report cards will continue to list state standards for each grading period, but a letter grade will also be assigned.

Highland Park Elementary School where students learn because teachers care.    The mission of Highland Park Elementary School is to prepare the children in the community to be lifelong learners who are responsible, productive and caring citizens.
